SHINSEIKI (bare root)

Round, medium to large yellow fruit with very little to no russet. Crisp white flesh with a mild sweet flavor. Hangs on the tree well and keeps under refrigeration well. Larger tree than other varieties. Usually bears the second year. Pollinate with Bartlett, Chojuro, Korean Giant or Housi. Moderate fire blight resistance. Requires 350-450 hours of chilling. Hardy in Zones 5-9. (2 year plant, approx. 3-5 feet)
